ACCLAD is an independent global recognition body dedicated to identifying and celebrating individuals and institutions who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and service across all sectors of human endeavour.

A New Recognition
Every honoured name stands on a foundation. For the first time in the history of global recognition, ACCLAD has created a programme dedicated to naming that foundation — the coaches, parents, partners, and collaborators without whom extraordinary achievement would not have been possible.
The Enablers are not a consolation prize. They are not honourees who fell short. They are a different kind of recognition entirely — one that has never existed before in the global recognition landscape, and one that ACCLAD believes is long overdue.

The Enabler's involvement was not merely helpful — it was structurally necessary. Remove their contribution and the Honouree's achievement either does not happen or happens in materially diminished form.
The contribution was maintained over time — across setbacks, across seasons, across years — in a way that required genuine sacrifice of time, energy, or opportunity.
The Enabler's primary orientation was toward the Honouree's success, not their own advancement. It is a recognition of contribution, not ambition.
An Enabler is recognised not for what they achieved, but for what they made possible. Both questions matter. ACCLAD now answers both.
A New Recognition
Not every consequential achievement belongs to a single person. Some of the world's most significant contributions — a vaccine platform, a research laboratory, a company built to outlast its founder — belong to the organisation itself. ACCLAD Institutions names companies, laboratories, and bodies as Honorees in their own right, for their own achievement.
An ACCLAD Institution is not a lesser recognition, and it is not the same thing as an Enabler. It is a full Honoree recognition, assessed by the same Independent Global Council, held to the same standard, and given the same permanent place in the ACCLAD record — often alongside the individual ACCLAD Honoree whose leadership built or embodies it.

Recognised for what the organisation itself built — its own record, its own impact — not for the contribution of any one person alone.
Corporate registries, patents, trademarks, and primary institutional records substantiate every ACCLAD Institution recognition.
An ACCLAD Institution is a Honoree in its own right — the same Council, the same standard, the same permanent record as any individual Honoree.
An Institution is recognised for its own achievement. An Enabler — individual or institutional — is recognised for enabling someone else's. The two are separate recognitions.

Open Nominations
ACCLAD accepts nominations from individuals, institutions, and civil society organisations worldwide. Every nomination is reviewed by our independent Global Council of Peers — a body of former heads of state, Nobel laureates, and distinguished sector leaders.
